South Wales rocker Adam Ovens and his friend Joel Withey have launched a new graphics business in Tredegar.

The Caspien front man and his friend have got their new business - Autografik - on the road with support from the Kickstart Fund.

Autografik offers a wide range of graphics for many applications, but specialises in vehicles. “Businesses realise that their vehicle is the best mobile advert they can have, so they want to make the most of it,” said Joel.

“It is an excellent way to promote a business and get your name seen. Your vehicle becomes your billboard.”

As well as the vehicle side of the business, Autografik offers signage and social media branding. 

The business has received support from the Kickstart Fund run jointly by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and Tata Steel subsidiary UK Steel Enterprise. BG Effect was also instrumental in providing assistance to get the new business up and running.

A grant of £1000 enabled Joel and Adam to invest in computer and print equipment.

Mae'r rocer Adam Owens a'i gyfaill Joel Withey wedi lansio busnes graffeg newydd yn Nhredegar.

Mae prif leisydd The Caspien a'i gyfaill wedi cael eu busnes newydd - Autografic - ar yr hewl gyda chefnogaeth gan Gronfa Kickstart.

Mae Autografic yn cynnig dewis eang o graffeg ar gyfer llawer o ddeunyddiau, ond mae'n arbenigo mewn cerbydau. "Mae busnesau'n sylweddoli mai eu cerbyd yw'r hysbyseb symudol orau y gallant ei chael, felly maent eisiau manteisio i'r eithaf ohoni, " meddai Joel.

"Mae'n ffordd ardderchog i hyrwyddo busnes a sicrhau y caiff eich enw ei weld. Mae'ch cerbyd yn dod yn hysbysfwrdd."

Yn ogystal ag ochr cerbydau'r busnes, mae Autografik yn cynnig arwyddion a brandio cyfryngau cymdeithasol.

Mae'r busnes wedi derbyn cefnogaeth gan Gronfa Kickstart a gaiff ei rhedeg ar y cyd gan Gyngor Bwrdeisdref Sirol Blaenau Gwent ac UK Steel Enterprise, is-gwmni Tata Steel. Bu BG Effect hefyd yn ganolog wrth roi cymorth i sefydlu'r busnes newydd.
